Founded in 1954 by George W. Hughey, Jr and Carl Neuman, Hughey & Neuman, Inc. was originally organized to complete home repairs and remodeling.
Later, under the direction of George W. Hughey, Jr. the company branched into rental management.
In 1968 George William Hughey, III (Bill) join Hughey & Neuman, Inc. and expanded the business into sales, leasing, and construction.
In 1969, Bill became the president of Hughey & Neuman, Inc. and under his leadership grew the company into one of the largest property management companies in Albany, Georgia.
