He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Georgia.
Dan started working in the Boone area in 1973 and moved here in 1977 and was the director of Camp Sky Ranch for 22 years.
Dan joined Martin Real Estate in August of 1999.
Since 1982, Dan has been a high school football referee.
He retired from officiating in 2012.
Dan has gone on several mission trips over the last several years: Malaysia, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Kenya, and Nicaragua Dan is married to Teresa Greene Norman formerly of Morganton, NC.
