Pikus Real Estate & Property Management opened doors in 2016. We are a full service real estate company serving both Stark and Summit counties. We specialize in the management of excellent investment properties for owners who want their homes managed like they would manage if they had the time and resources. We bring to the table more than 20 years of real estate industry experience, including, sales, management and lending.

Property management became a passion when I realized that there was a niche market in Stark County that needed a hero. From Marketing to screening of tenants, rent collections to management reporting, we pay attention to each and every detail. Properties are maintained and visited on a regular basis, just as you as an owner would do.

How do you screen applicants?

Tenants will be asked to apply online at www.pikusrealestate.com.
There are no exceptions.
Tenants will pay an application fee.
This helps us determine the level of interest the tenant has in your home.
After a review of the application, we pull a TransUnion Credit Report, a full address and criminal history.
We also review a nationwide rental database to insure that there have been no previous evictions.
How do you prepare a lease, what additional documentation is required?
My husband and I have worked with Shirley for many years and have found her to be hard-working, thorough, creative and very ethical.
When I found out Shirley was embarking on property management, I was very excited.
Living out of state makes owning a rental very challenging and Shirley is the only person I would trust to take care of our property and our interests, while at the same time caring for our renters.
