Services
A native of Western Washington, I was born and raised in the North Puget Sound area, graduating from Arlington High School in 1980.
After graduation, I became interested in real estate and got my license in the early 1980s.
I enjoyed being an agent but was eventually eager to learn more.
This enthusiasm leads me to take my brokers exam and earn my brokers license in 1999.
Shortly afterward, I became the branch manager for Preview Properties Inc.
Finally, in 2008, I became the owner of my own branch office-Preview Properties NW LLC., and now Camano Island Real Estate, as Camano Island is where I have lived for over 30 years and raised my two wonderful kids who have recently graduated from College and are my inspiration in life.

A beach access home on Camano Island will typically mean that the home is close to the beach, but not necessarily.
There are homes in a few communities that have beach access for the entire community, not just a specific home.
So it's important to distinguish what type of beach access you're looking for.
The more private the beach access the higher price the home typically, but of course, the condition, size, and location matters as well.
Beachfront access homes can start as little as $180,000 for manufactured homes or lots.

Camano Island is bound to have dozens of beaches because, of course, we are an island.
From parks and beaches to boat launches and trails, there are really endless things to do and see while exploring Camano Island beaches.
One of the islands best attraction is the Iverson Trail Preserve.
The Iverson Spot is a hidden gem with activities like bird watching, beach combing, skim boarding and hiking.
Located at 3 Iverson Rd at the north end of the island, Iverson is a day use park.
Great place to spend the day!

Walking on an all cobble beach is amazing and peaceful and you'll likely see Bald Eagles, seals, and other wildlife.
Residents along the Cavalero Beach area have beautiful views of the Cascades and the mainland.
This half acre park has close neighbors so it's important to respect private property.
The boat launch has a daily fee of just five dollars for residents and $15 for nonresidents.
Annual passes are available at about $30 per resident or $90 for nonresidents.
There is very little parking and a steep hill to drive down to access the county Park but if you're willing to make the track, it's a great place to your boat.

Camano Island's south end has several smaller beaches around the tip including Camano Head and Pebble Beach.
The south end of Camano Island is home to mainly residential properties, lots, land, and a few in-home businesses.
There is very little if any commercial businesses in this area.
Unfortunately, there is no other access to Camano Island other than S. Camano Dr. and E. Camano Dr. which loops around the south end.
So, if you plan on buying a home, realize that there's only one way in and off the island at this point.
