Teressa's family has deep roots in White County.
Her grandparents settled here in the 1920's and her family called Helen "home" until the late 1950's.
Teressa spent her early years in the Northwest Georgia Mountains, but her childhood summers found her on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, on her grandparents' farm near downtown Helen.
Today she resides on a portion of that family farm with her husband Bill.
Helen has been "home" again since 1980.
It was always her goal to raise her family in Helen and she says, "I got back as soon as I could."

A Georgia native, Tracy House Schwartz was born and raised in Douglasville, about 25 miles west of Atlanta.
Throughout the years she vacationed, camped and enjoyed the mountains north of the city.
In 1985 Tracy purchased a piece of land well off the beaten path in the small community of Sautee Nacoochee, GA.
Over the next few years she built a small cabin - doing much of the work herself.
In 1995 Tracy left the city to reside in Sautee Nacoochee full time.
Since that time, she and her husband renovated the small mountain getaway into a classically rustic cabin that is passive solar complete with every modern upgrade including solar panels and recycled rainwater capabilities.

Dottie, we want to thank you so much for all the sweet closing gifts.
You did way too much for us.
It just reminds me again of how great of a realtor and friend you really are.
You listened to everything we said, throughout this long, long process- haha!
We just may have been your pickiest clients.
We are so grateful for all the time you spent with us to find our perfect home, and making parting with our first home so quick and easy.
We will always have special memories in the old home, but we can't wait to make memories in the new one!
