Services
My family began coming to the Outer Cape in 1986.
We camped in Wellfleet and greatly enjoyed the beaches and the time away from the daily hustle and busy-ness of our lives in New York.
For the next 10 summers we rented vacation homes in Eastham.
In 1998 we stretched and bought a vacant lot, building a classic Cape-style home the next year.
To assist in 'paying the mortgage', we rented the house during the summer seasons, enjoying it ourselves off-season.
That began a new 'career'.
My extensive marketing background, my computer skills, and my love for people have allowed me to excel at selling real estate.
When you understand current market conditions, you are able to better position yourself as a Buyer.
It helps to know if you are in a Seller's or Buyer's market when setting your offering price.
In a Buyer's market there is a lot more competition and Buyers have plenty of choices and room to negotiate, allowing you to be very competitive when setting your price.
This is the single most important step.
By asking you a series of questions I will establish what you are looking for.
My goal is to not waste your time by looking at properties that are not in your price range or homes that don't meet you needs.
Here are a few things to do this summer after you have had your share of the sun and sand of Eastham's many beaches.
Have you ever thought of kayaking?
Well, I'd been pondering getting in a kayak for several years.
I've finally given it a try.
I found Osprey Sea Kayak Adventures and I'm currently taking a short course in kayaking.
The instructor is a coastal naturalist as well as a certified kayak instructor.
In addition to teaching us how to stay upright, he tells us what we're seeing on the banks of the ponds and small rivers and under us.
It's no surprise that the Eastham real estate market is very seasonal.
What's surprising is when the 'best' season actually is.
Although the summer sees many more folks out here, they tend to be busy with beaches and clam chowder.
Many homes are not show-able due to renters.
Spring is generally our best season, but it both starts and ends slowly.
We generally have a goodly number of new listings in the spring.
Fall is our 2nd best season.
Starting at Labor Day and ending in early to mid-November, when folks start to be preoccupied with the Holidays.
You should sign up for the FREE MLS access.
Not only will you be able to search all of the Cape Cod & Islands MLS for your perfect home, you can receive daily E-mail updates with any new-to-market properties that match your search criteria.
You can then check out these new listings over your morning cup of coffee!
