Michael Dawkins was born and raised in Connecticut and since has relocated to South Carolina, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia over his 17 year U.S Army career. Currently he is on active duty at Fort Belvoir, VA. While on station in Jacksonville, FL in 2010 he met his wife Nikea in which they married in 2011 in her home state of Alabama.
Over the last 17 years, Michael has served in many key and challenging roles such as Avionic mechanic supervisor, Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, Budget Manager, Operation NCOIC, and Security Manager.He served in these positions from company of 240 Soldiers through 2-star commands of over 8,000 soldier. While serving in these positions Michael has developed a wealth of knowledge as to the Army's processing when a Soldier is exiting after honorably serving and even while still serving and transitions from place to place.
His knowledge has lead him to pursue a career in real estate to continue to help his colleagues as well the many family oriented people he encounter find their home through the most stressful and challenging of times.
