Services
We know we are not all things to all people; however, the skill set that a RE/MAX Mountain West agent brings to the table is built out of a common core of principles that applies to you, no matter whether you are buying OR selling.
Yes, there are unique job functions that change depending on our role when working with buyers vs. sellers, but we want you to know we are equally committed to each of our clients, all of their needs, and we'll do what it takes to earn your respect, do good work with you, and keep our good reputation, both now and in the future.
You can expect that your RE/MAX Mountain West agent will fight hard to get the property you want at the best price.
Once you have chosen your RE/MAX Mountain West agent, they will be by your side through the entire process.
This may be the largest financial transaction of your life.
Buying property is a complicated legal transaction with a long timeline so you want to be ready to get the best that you can with the funds that you have.
Working with a licensed agent will make this process a LOT more smooth and less time-consuming, so you can start loving your new property as soon as possible!
In a real estate transaction where licensed agents are involved, usually, a commission is paid to the agents.
That commission is paid by the SELLER, traditionally paid out of the money that the seller receives for the property being sold, and it's thousands of dollars.
This is one big reason a lot of people consider selling their home themselves, as a "For Sale By Owner", or "FSBO".
The idea is to cut out the agents altogether and not have to pay out that commission.
To point out the obvious: we believe that sellers (and buyers) should work with a licensed agent!
You can expect that your RE/MAX Mountain West agent will fight hard to get the best price in the shortest amount of time!
Once you have chosen your RE/MAX Mountain West agent, they will be by your side through the entire process.
Sellers have many different reasons for wanting to sell their property.
It's important to be able to discuss those reasons with your agent.
It doesn't matter ~what~ the reason is, only that you are clear and purposeful.
This will help your agent inform you, guide you and help you go through the sales process, keeping your specific goals in mind.
When asked to describe where we're located, sometimes the easiest thing to say is "we're 5 hours west of Denver".
This area is called the Western Slope (of the Rockies).
The Rocky Mountains are to the east, and the Uncompahgre Plateau to the west.
Our little area of the Western Slope is further defined by our rivers.
To the north, we have the Roaring Fork Valley, created by the Crystal and Roaring Fork rivers, which has larger towns like Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, and of course Aspen.
If you head southwest over McClure Pass, first you enter the North Fork Valley with the North Fork of the Gunnison River running through it, which has smaller towns like Hotchkiss, Crawford and Paonia.
