Flagship Properties was founded in Greenville, South Carolina in 2008 by local real estate businessman H. Benjamin Smith, III (Benji) at the height of the Great Recession.
In 2010, Flagship Properties acquired Riverside Property Management, enabling the company to add Property Management to its commercial and residential real estate services.
Jon Pickhardt, a leader within the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors (GGAR), partnered with Smith in 2011 as General Manager of Property Management and Residential Sales.
