A company's name defines the business. As a Richmond native, I have the advantage of knowing the area's strengths, history, schools, shopping, businesses and other factors benefiting home buyers and sellers. Simply put, I can offer the "Home Team Advantage". With nearly 30 years in real estate, this expertise creates a satisfying experience when you are buying or selling.

My intimate knowledge of neighborhoods and local landmarks, combined with my established network of experts, provides my clients with that extra edge necessary in today's market. This website will introduce you to everything you need, including available properties, lenders you can trust, utility and government contact numbers and school information.

It connects you to local activities, events, offers free services and, most of all, it gives you the Home Team Advantage.

In my experience, the argument that it's essential to have a nationally-known company hasn't been valid.
I started at Savage & Company, Better Homes & Gardens, now a Long & Foster Company, in 1986 when Savage was probably the largest firm around.
One value I bring to your home buying experience is expertise.
If you're a first time buyer, it's ALL new and scary.
Terms are foreign PITI, title insurance, loan app.
HUH? and just understanding the process can be intimidating.
I can simplify the whole experience so that buying your home is what it SHOULD be.fun.
Even if you're a veteran homeowner, it's not something you do every day so you might not be aware of current procedures or legal requirements.
There will be a time when (1) your heartbeat starts racing, (2) your imagination soars, or (3) you clutch my arm and whisper frantically words like this one!
In 1986, I became a Realtor.
Later, as a single mom, I realized that working from home, as a broker, would be even better.
I wanted to emphasize my Richmond roots and commitment to our area so when I told a friend that living here all my life gave my clients the "home team advantage, " Home Team Realtors was born.
Business rules are basic: (1) family comes first, (2) I'll work anytime except Sunday morning, and (3) the Golden Rule prevails.
Rule #1 is simple.
Rule #2 is based on priorities as well.
Kitty Snow grew up on her mother's family home place in Bon Air, Virginia.
She graduated from Huguenot High School and attended Longwood College and Virginia Commonwealth University.
During her career at C & P Telephone Company, she was the first female telephone installer/repairman assigned to Church Hill, Oregon Hill, Fulton Bottom, Jackson Ward and other downtown neighborhoods.
This unusual job placement put her on the streets (and up the telephone poles) of Richmond's oldest areas where she reconnected with the history of the city she loves.
