Colorado Association Of Realtors
Did you know? As a member of the Colorado Association of REALTORS, you have access to FREE statewide and regional monthly market reports. All real estate licensees are not the same. Only real estate licensees who are members of the National Association of REALTORS are properly called REALTORS. REALTORS subscribe to a strict code of ethics and are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the process of buying and selling real estate.

Home ownership is an important part of our economy, helps our communities thrive and gives our children the stability they need. The Colorado Association of REALTORS protects consumers' rights everyday through our political advocacy efforts. REALTORS are hard at work every day protecting your interests at the State Capitol. This year, CAR successfully worked with the House and Senate leadership of both parties, our industry partners, and the larger business community to enact key pieces of priority legislation.

Professional development is essential to your career growth.
Services
REALTORS are different from other real estate licensees in that they voluntarily pledge to abide by a strict code of professional conduct above and beyond the licensing laws of the state.
This conduct is outlined in the National Association of REALTORS Code of Ethics.
If you feel like any part of the Code has been violated by a REALTOR, you are entitled to file a complaint.
The REALTORS Code of Ethics is comprised of seventeen Articles.
The Articles are explained through accompanying Standards of Practice.

To assist CAR's legislative advocacy efforts, we are creating a grasstops lobbyist network to establish one REALTOR as a Key Contact for each Colorado State Legislator.
Key Contacts will be activated and called upon at strategic moments to help influence state legislators on issues impacting the Colorado Association of REALTORS.
A Key Contact is a REALTOR appointed by CAR to be a grasstops liaison between an elected member of the Colorado General Assembly and the Colorado Association of REALTORS.
Part of our mission at the Colorado Association is to make REALTORS more successful.
One of the ways in which we hope to achieve this goal is by offering legal resources, trends and information to our members.
The REALTORS Legal Hotline is a service that provides CAR members with direct access to a qualified attorney who can offer information on real estate law, license law, commission regulations and related matters.
