Get a an Estimate on the value of your home from a professional - not a "zestimate" because they're wrong. Probably sooner. Do not rely on. My advice is be very careful before buy any Coastal land in California because of the coastal commission's new guidelines, which indicate their intention to "take" (a legal term worth researching) property that is impacted by sea level rise.

The zestimate and figures like it are computer generated estimates based on averages that the computer data mines.
The computer is not able to account for issues like condition of the property, bad location of the property, and other circumstances such as seller distress or buyer credits.
This is one of those instances where it will be awhile before a computer can replace a human.
