Buyer Rebates Realty offers Orlando, Florida real estate homebuyers (new homes or resale homes) cash back. We give the real estate buyer half of our commission - a commission that is paid by the seller. Also, we are Buyer's Agents. What that means is we represent you, the homebuyer. The state of Florida has statutes saying what a Buyer's Agent must do for their clients.

Buyer Rebates Realty, a Florida licensed real estate brokerage, was one of the first real estate companies in the country to offer cash rebates to real estate buyers. Back in 2000 when we first offered homebuyers rebates, many Realtors as well as many homebuyers questioned if offering homebuyers a rebate was even legal. Today, twenty years later, we are sometimes still asked that same question.

Offering homebuyers cash rebates is perfectly legal in the state of Florida as long as proper written disclosures are made. To better understand the rebate, take a look at our "Rebate" page. When you buy a house through Buyer Rebates Realty you will get a rebate check at closing, usually thousands of dollars.
That's right, you, the real estate buyer, actually get money back.
Buyer Rebates Realty splits the seller paid commission with our homebuyers.
The amount of the rebate varies according to the actual commission Buyer Rebates Realty receives from the seller.
The rebate in the chart below is based on the seller (or builder) paying Buyer Rebates Realty a 3% commission.
In a 'typical' transaction, the seller may pay a 6% commission of which 3% goes to the seller's listing agent/broker and 3% goes to the buyer's agent/broker.
When given the choice between working with a "Buyer's Agent" or working with a traditional seller's agent, the choice is obvious.
As the name implies, Buyer's Agents work for the buyer and owe their fiduciary duty to the buyer.
This is no small distinction.
The State of Florida has promulgated a "Single Agent Notice" which defines the duties a Buyer's Agent (single agent) owes the buyer.
As you can see, real estate buyers are much better served working with a Buyer's Agent.
It is also important to note that a single agent Realtor working for the seller (a "seller's agent") owes the seller these same duties.
