REALTORS do more than list and sell homes and businesses; they are the Coaches, Boy & Girl Scout Leaders and volunteers in the Community, and MSBR leads the way. They have been awarded by MARYLAND REALTORS for outstanding community service. With this recognition, MSBR has been able to contribute over $70,000 to various charities in Caroline, Dorchester and Talbot Counties.

The REALTORS and the REALTOR Association are working together to better our communities.
Services
Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS was formed in 1997; but before then, there was the Talbot County Board of REALTORS chartered in 1953 with 9 members and the Dorchester County Board of REALTORS, chartered in 1959 with 7 members.
When these two boards merged they also included Caroline County to provide standardized practices, better serve the public and to subscribe to the CODE OF ETHICS of the National Association of REALTORS (then known as the National Association of Real Estate Boards).
Today our REALTOR and affiliate members from Caroline County, Dorchester County and Talbot County comprise the Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS.
If you are new to the real estate industry, a 3-hour New Member Orientation Course is required within 90-days of joining.
Once you've joined and obtained your NRDS, (National REALTORS Data System Number) you are then required to join Bright, the local multiple list service.
Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS pro-rates dues monthly, you will need to call or email us to obtain the correct payment.
In addition to the pro-rated dues, there is a one-time new member fee of $100.
A Letter of Good Standing will be requested from MSBR to your current Board for verification of your member status.
Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS strives to provide you the skills and training to expand the knowledge needed to do your job professionally and be successful.
This knowledge takes many forms, from formal classes to casual networking.
We hope you will take advantage of the many offered benefits.
Take the required 15 Maryland credit hours in the comfort of your home via Zoom.
All classes are at no cost to members.
Non-members are welcome to take classes and the cost is $25.00 for a 1.5-hour class and $35.00 for a 3-hour class.
This award recognizes extraordinary contributions to the real estate profession and to the REALTOR organization and is selected by the past recipients.
The intention is that recipients will be universally acknowledged among our members as exemplary practitioners in the real estate and business communities.
This award is presented at the annual awards event.
The only Eastern Shore county not bordered by water, Caroline is known as the "Green Garden County" for its rich heritage of commercial agriculture.
Its 120,000 acres of farmland represent more than half of the county's total acreage.
Caroline County's forests, wetlands, rivers and streams provide critical habitats for endangered plants and animals, as well as spawning and nursery areas for Chesapeake Bay fish species.
Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking, canoeing and cycling through the county's 8,000-plus acres of wildlife sanctuaries, nature preserves and public parks.
