Rawhide is a full-service real estate company, specializing in residential and land sales, residential property management, and horse properties, serving El Paso, Teller, Southern Douglas, Elbert, and Western Lincoln Counties, including Colorado Springs, Black Forest, and Tri-Lakes (Monument, Woodmoor & Palmer Lake). In addition to property management and brokerage, we offer real estate consulting services and mediation and expert witness services for real estate related disputes.
In an age of huge franchises and impersonal service, we are proud to be a small independent family company that cares about doing the job right. Our customers and clients appreciate doing business with a firm that stands behind its work, and is serious about providing service which exceeds their expectations. If you want competence, honesty and integrity, then please give us a chance to prove ourselves to you.

Services
Until 1994, all brokers in Colorado were deemed to be either the agent (or sub-agent, if working with the buyer) of the seller.
For lots of legal reasons, this exposed both sellers and brokers to unreasonable liability, while providing that the buyer would not be represented in the transaction.
In 1994, Colorado created new working relationships for the public in working with real estate brokers.
These include seller's agent (advocating for the seller), buyer's agent (advocating for the buyer), dual agent (advocates equally-allegedly-for buyer and seller) and transaction-broker (a neutral facilitator who advocates for neither party).

DISCLAIMER: We are not attorneys, and nothing herein is or should be construed as legal advice.
As real estate brokers, we recommend expert assistance to the public, including legal assistance where disputes are involved.
CONFLICT HAPPENS: When real estate transactions don't go as parties plan, they sometimes find themselves in need of conflict resolution services.
Many attorneys recommend (and courts often require) mediation as a quick and cost-effective method of conflict resolution.
Typical case examples include earnest money disputes, property management issues, boundary squabbles, property condition differences and contract challenges.
