His humble beginning as a carpenter provided the skills and experience only available to those seasoned in the ditches, among the vertical framing, and atop the roofs of new homes within the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe area. Additionally, a previous career in film camera operation trained his vision to recognize the great from the good, beautiful from the pretty, and exceptional from existing.
