Originally from Italy, I moved to Dublin, Ireland at the age of 20. Soon thereafter, I relocated to the United States, specifically to Stamford, CT. From there, I graduated with a Bachelors in Business Marketing at Mercy College. Upon graduation, I joined the NicoleJBates Team at William Raveis Real Estate and was afforded the opportunity to apply my marketing knowledge.

With 6 relocations in 9 years under my belt, I finally purchased my first house and I finally had a place I could call home. That's when I really came to the realization that there is nothing better than putting down roots, joining a community and developing a sense of empowerment that only homeownership provides. I realized that becoming a real estate agent was a natural transition, considering that I was already member of a team of smart and motivated women.

With experience in marketing, customer service and sales, I am able to bring knowledge and expertise from many different areas. When I'm not busy making dreams come true one house at a time, I love spending time with my husband and our rescue dog.

Meet with a mortgage broker and find out how much you can afford to pay for a home.
You don't want to waste time looking for houses that are out of your price range.
Also, with a pre-approval letter, you'll be ready to make an offer when the right house will come along and the seller will know that you are a serious buyer.
Financial statements, Bank accounts, Investments, Credit cards, Auto loans, Recent pay stubs, Tax returns for two years, Copies of leases for investment properties, 401K statements, life insurance, stocks, bonds, and mutual account information.
You'll have a place that is uniquely "yours" that you can customize - from paint colors to major remodeling projects.
With fixed-rate mortgages, your monthly principal and interest payments will stay the same for the entire period of the loan.
This will make it easier to plan and budget - whereas rental rates may rise over time.
When you buy a home and consistently make your monthly loan payments on time, it demonstrates to other lenders that you are a good borrower and the risk of you defaulting on a loan is low.
The adage of "invest in real estate because they're not making it anymore" has enticed more than a few people to buy property.
There is money to be made in this alternative asset - and for the unwary, money to be lost.
Even after you've shelled out a healthy sum to purchase an investment property, it continues to hit you with costs, whether for taxes, upkeep or refurbishment.
If those costs are more than you're prepared to take on, selling the property won't be as easy or quick as trading a mutual fund, and as with any investment, price appreciation isn't guaranteed.
