CCAR is a professional trade association dedicated to protecting homeownership, ethics and professionalism within the real estate industry. RMLS Directors are appointed for three-year terms.
Nine come from PMAR, three from EMAR, and three from CCAR.
In addition, two directors sit on the board representing the Service Advisory Committee (SAC), which provides a voice for all the REALTOR associations that RMLS serves, but which are not shareholders in RMLS.
When you join the Clark County Association of REALTORS (CCAR), you also join the Washington Association of REALTORS (WR) and the National Association of REALTORS (NAR).
CCAR, WR and NAR does NOT accept partial payments on dues.
Electronic payments automatically split between all 3 organizations and are deposited to their banks.

At the 1972 Annual Convention, the National Association of REALTORS Delegate Body approved what is now commonly referred to as the "NAR Variable Dues Formula" for Designated REALTORS.
The formula was crafted to ensure fairness, by basing member dues on the number of individuals licensed with REALTOR principals (known as "Designated REALTORS" or "DRs").
The premise is that every licensee in the firm benefits from the DR's membership in the Association of REALTORS, and, therefore, the DR's dues should reflect all licensees in the firm - even those who are not REALTORS.
