Monica Rohrer Broker/Owner worked as a top producer for Mason McDuffie in North Berkeley then Prudential for 17 years. In 1998 she formed La Maison Real Estate to better serve her clients in a more personal way. Monica grew up in Southern California learning a great deal about design and construction from her father, Joseph A. Rohrer, who was a design builder in the Los Angeles area.
She was married at a young age and has four great children who are all married, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren living all over the world.
Monica cares for her community and has volunteered in many ways; she is past president of the Berkeley High School Parent Teacher Association, volunteered in a rehabilitation program for youth at risk, has been the President and Vice President for the Building Conservancy of Northern California, served as a director on the Board of Realtors in Berkeley, the Homeless committee and the Senior housing committee, and past President and Board member of the Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association.
