As a senior officer at Glendale Federal Bank, Scott oversaw loan workouts and divestiture of bank-owned real estate from 1989-1993. Prior to that, he handled corporate and real estate lending for Security Pacific Bank from 1985-1988 and was a Research Fellow at Yale University.

With a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Anderson School of Business at the University of California, he is also a board member of the Los Angeles South Bay Economic Development Partnership, Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation and Salvation Army Torrance.

As the Managing Director of New York-based ING's Investment Banking unit and earlier of Ernst & Young's Real Estate Advisory Group, Bill advised clients on acquisition of more than $2.5 billion in commercial real estate from 1984-1990.During the early 1990s, he assisted major financial institutions with restructuring and disposition of more than $1.5 billion in non-performing loans.

He received a B.S. & B.A. with honors in Accounting & Real Estate Finance from the University of Arizona, is a Senior with the ASA (American Society of Appraisers), and has also earned his certification as a CPA.
