After the passing of Fred Assam, his son, Sam, took over the lead of the organization in 1996, changing the name to Assam Commercial Real Estate in 1998. Sam has made it his goal to preserve his father's hard work ethic and to build upon the organization's name as an industry leader. Sam Assam also brought his knowledge as a lawyer and CPA, with a Master's Degree in Finance, to the business when he transitioned into the company.
