Our experience with Tucker was exemplary! From our first meeting when we originally decided to put the house on the market to the final closing was stress free, professional and comprehensive. Their suggestions for improvements were reasonable and they took care of all the inspection details, including facilitating the contractors who did top notch work at very fair prices.
I would recommend their team for any sale of any property in the Wilmington area. The Robbins Team has been helping area families buy and sell their homes for the past 45 years. Our core values of attention to detail and dedication to excellence along with our very successful team of specialists have helped us move over 3000 area residents into new homes in Northern Delaware and nearby Chester and Delaware Counties in Pennsylvania.
Our goal is to provide our clients with a superior real estate experience as we negotiate the best deals for them, so they can buy or sell their home. Our clients run the gamut from first time buyers all the way to professional investors, but no matter what level of experience you have, we promise to make the transaction easy and uncomplicated.

The name Hockessin may have been derived from the Lenape Indian word "hokesa" meaning "pieces of bark" or from a misspelling of "occasion" as pronounced by the Quakers who settled the area.
Hockessin traces its roots back to 1688.
The first Roman Catholic Church in Delaware was located in Hockessin.
Missionary priests from Maryland established the Coffee Run Mission in 1790.
There are many properties registered on National Register of Historic Places in Hockessin.
Hockessin was not much more than a crossroad until the late 1980's when it became very popular.

Deerfield is a real estate neighborhood in the Hockessin area.
It is located on Lancaster Pike (Route 41) and is the last neighborhood before the Pennsylvania State line.
The center of Hockessin is, of course, super convenient.
Restaurants in the area include one of my very favorites, The House of William and Merry.
A fabulous place for a "special meal", but a bit pricey for every day.
You will likely do more food shopping at the large Lantana Square shopping center on Limestone Road (about 2 miles away).

Hawkes Aerie is a real estate neighborhood that is a bit of a hidden gem.
Located in Hockessin (zip code 19707) it actually is behind the community of Bon Ayre off Old Wilmington Road.
You actually drive through the main road of Bon Ayre to reach this development in the back.
The homes here are newer than Bon Ayre and the location a bit more secluded.
The convenience is still there though.
Shopping, restaurants, and so much more are all within a mile or so.
The commute to Wilmington along Lancaster Pike is a straight shot.

Stenning Woods is a real estate community of Limestone Road (Route 7) near the Pennsylvania State line.
It was built by Jack Corrozzi, (a former city of Wilmington Policeman who went on to become one of the area's premier builder before accepting a position as head of construction for MBNA).
It followed the (by then) well established formula of combining townhomes and single family homes.

Greenville is the Chateau Country of Delaware.
Originally the home of many huge DuPont family estates, it is a beautiful area of rolling hills and scenic byways.
Sometimes referred to as the land of "pink and green" this is the real estate area with the most expensive homes and the highest per capita income in northern Delaware.
While many of the farms and estates have been subdivided into neighborhoods, the area is still quite rural and unspoiled.
The main commuting road is Route 52 (Kennett Pike), which is on the national register of scenic byways.
