Vermont is proud to be the first state in the nation to reach an 80% vaccination rate for those 12 years of age and older. The state's "universal guidance" remains in effect, which encourages unvaccinated Vermonters and visitors to continue wearing their masks and practicing social distancing especially indoors. Businesses also have leeway in instituting their own rules, and some federal restrictions remain in effect.
