It's history takes you back to a time when the town was called Doko, and the Doko Depot supplied water for the steam engines.
Agriculture has always been an integral part of this town and the local farmer's market continues a long standing tradition of buying locally from the harvest of its land.
Blythewood has a strong equestrian tradition, is home to the USC Equestrian center and served as the training ground for the US Olympic equestrian teams.
