Born and raised in the mountains of Eastern Oregon.
I enlisted in the Marine Corps straight out of high school and eventually was stationed in San Diego where I met my husband of 40+ years.
My husband's career in the Marine Corps has taken us all over the United States.
In 1981, we came to Havelock-Cherry Point, fell in love with the area and decided to make Havelock our home.
I have been blessed with 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, and have 4 grandchildren.
My oldest son is in the Army, my youngest recently got out of the Navy, and my daughter is married to a soldier, so we are truly a military family.
