Services
With deep roots in South Louisiana, RE/MAX Generations has a history as colorful and unique as the region itself.
It all began in 1956 when George Pivach, Jr. (the son of Croatian immigrants) and his wife Frances (a Croatian immigrant herself) started a small business venture known as Pivach Agency in Triumph, LA.
In the beginning, the company specialized in insurance sales, but in 1958, after successful expansion to a second location in Port Sulphur, LA, George and Frances added real estate services to their business model.

After 63 years in business, we've been around the block a time or two (or several hundred times).
We know our market areas very well, and we keep a pulse on changes in the community and economy.
We have all the information you need to make an informed decision when searching for the perfect home or commercial property in the perfect location.
Anybody can search for a home online, but how do you know if the home is really worth what the seller is asking?

We have been in business since 1956.
This does not mean that we have been doing things the same way for 63 years.
In such a competitive industry, we have found that the key to survival is adaptability.
However, although we recognize the real estate industry has changed drastically since our founding, it is the core knowledge and experience gained over 6 decades that have empowered us to adapt and develop new, proven systems to effectively serve our clients in the face of the industry's evolution.

Algiers is the only area of Orleans Parish located on the West Bank, and it collectively refers to two main sections - historic Algiers Point, and the more modern Algiers community.
Algiers Point is the second-oldest neighborhood in New Orleans (behind the French Quarter), and the most historic area of the West Bank.
It is only a short ferry ride across the glorious Mississippi River to the French Quarter and the Central Business District.
Of course, one could also take a quick drive across the Greater New Orleans Bridge.
