Growing up in Central Montana Julie learned hard work, honesty, and integrity are the foundation of a healthy community.
As a student she was active in 4H and Girl Scouts; later in high school she was active in basketball, cheerleading, FFA, and Speech and Debate.
She married her husband John in 1995, together they have 4 children.
Living in Eastern MT with 4 kids in tow, she returned to college at Miles Community College.
In 2011 she and her family moved home to Harlowton.
