We serve over 500 members in southwestern Ohio. In addition, we are affiliated with many banks, building and loans, title companies, home inspectors and others interested in the real estate industry. REALTOR members voluntarily join the Association and are bound by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS. REALTOR members maintain thirty hours of continuing education every three years to keep them informed on changes in their industry.
They are actively involved in education, community service, private property rights, lobbying, current real estate information, and a host of other activities. Our members are part of the largest trade association in the nation.

Once your broker submits your new member application, we will enter you into the NRDS system, assign you a NRDS number (which is an identification number that you will use in several different places), and send you an initial invoice.
Being part of a local board of REALTORS is a requirement to be classified as a REALTOR, and you will not legally be allowed to identify yourself as a REALTOR member until your initial invoice is paid in full.

After we receive an application for membership, we will begin processing the member's information.
We will assign them a NRDS number, then send them a welcome e-mail with an initial invoice and payment instructions.
After the initial dues are paid in full, we will notify the MLS that the agent is active and is permitted to have MLS access.
If your new agent is properly prepared, the process can take as little as a half an hour.
The process takes longer when the new agent doesn't check their e-mail, doesn't pay the dues, or isn't informed that there is a difference between MLS, SOAR, etc.
