Shane was born and raised in Central Texas and attended Texas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource and Environmental Studies with a minor in Biology.
After earning his degree Shane worked in flood data research and mapping to determine flood plains and define flood zones for land owners and home buyers.
He also spent 8 years as a Land Surveyor in the Austin area working his way up from Rodman to Survey technician and Project manager.
