Our company was founded in 2003 as the RP Mallery Group, a regionally active commercial real estate firm specializing in deal-by-deal syndication. Privately owned, the RP Mallery Group completed a wide variety of real estate projects including commercial real estate acquisition and disposition, subdivision development, sales-leaseback structuring, debt placement, lease negotiations, loan syndication, and debt servicing.
In 2012, due to successful performance as an investment sponsor, we evolved into Big River Real Estate. The move from managing non-discretionary capital to discretionary capital has not changed our investment philosophy: to pursue niches where our experience and sourcing advantages enable us to deliver above average, risk-adjusted investment returns.
Ryan P. Mallery is the founder and managing principal of Big River Real Estate and has been an integral part of all of the firm's activities since 2003. Mr. Mallery has been involved in many forms of real property ownership, development, management and financing during his career.
