Cny Pomeroy Appraisers
Our history is a combination of an established appraisal firm started in 1997 and long-established firm from the 1930s. Susan D. Baldwin, MAI, after nine years with The Peatfield Company, Ltd., started her own business and became partners with John Mako, MAI of Summit Associates. In 2007, she established Armory Square Valuation Services, Inc., which was renamed to CNY Appraisers, Inc. upon moving her business to Manlius, New York.

Donald T. Pomeroy founded Pomeroy Organization, Inc. in 1930 along with six partners. From 1930 until the mid-1950s, the Pomeroy Organization acted as a full-service brokerage and management company. In 1957, Don Pomeroy founded a new department known as Pomeroy Securities, Inc., which specialized in valuation services. In 1964, as part of a deal with Marine Midland Bank, Don Pomeroy created Pomeroy Appraisal Associates.

Donald A. Fisher began working as an appraiser with Pomeroy Appraisal Associates, Inc. in the early 1970s. During the following three decades, the business reached its peak size of over 40 employees and greatly expanded its areas of expertise.
Services
Over the past twenty plus years we have had the opportunity to work with Susan and her associates on a number of different engagements, to include valuations of undeveloped land, construction projects, property tax evaluations, acquisitions of both stabilized and vacant buildings.
The work product is consistently on time, accurate and thorough.
When her firm is selected by the lending institution we are confident the work product will be of the highest standard.
As an attorney, I have hired Don Fisher and the CNY Pomeroy Appraisers (formerly Pomeroy) firm in numerous cases over the years involving complicated, high stakes valuation issues for a variety of different types of property.
