Joe Vita has been involved in the local real estate market as a broker, appraiser and property manager since he started the business as Vita And associates, Inc. in 1983. He's twice served as the President of the Lexington-Buena Vista Rockbridge Association of Realtors (LBVR) and also served as president of the Lexington-Rockbridge Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Vita's deep involvement with the Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR) over the years has led to his recent completion of a three year term on its Board of Directors. He's also currently a Trustee of the Virginia Real Estate Education Foundation (VREEF). In the early 90's Mr. Vita served VAR as a Regional Vice President and taught several seminars for VREEF.
Currently, Joe Vita is the only exclusive buyers' agent serving the Lexington-Rockbridge area. Joe was selected by the Lexington-Buena Vista-Rockbridge Association of Realtors (LBVRAR) as The Realtor Of The Year. There are times when property owners, prospective buyers, corporations, government entities and universities have needed information and advice in connection with a real estate related matter.
