The West Michigan Lakeshore Association of REALTORS has one of the most unique and meaningful ways to remember REALTORS who have passed away.
The REALTOR Memorial, situated in a park-like setting on the southwest side of the Association's headquarters building at 12916 168th Ave, Grand Haven.
Anyone that was a member at the time of their passing has their name permanently etched in the granite.
A park bench at the end of a short walkway faces the Memorial and is a nice place for family and friends to sit in quiet reflection.

One might ask, "Is serving on a committee for me?" Or, "Being on a committee or task force is just a waste of time isn't it?"
The answer is that being a REALTOR is a profession of pride and that pride of membership can be expanded by taking part in a committee or task force that is suited to your talents.
Some are of the erroneous belief that its a huge commitment of time to serve.
This is a false notion.
If you feel you're of Judicial Temperament, you might be well suited to the Grievance or Professional Standards Committee.

We will be providing a 40hr pre license course for those interested in getting into the Real Estate Profession along with arranging classes for CE credits whether they be live or online, RPR classes and GRI I and GRI II instruction.
We are also open will have classes of interest from various speakers.
Please note, some classes will have a cost and not all will give CE Credits.
We are a work in process and want to provide the membership with educational opportunities.

The Grievance Committee is responsible for investigating and making preliminary evaluations of ethics complaints and arbitration requests to determine if a hearing by a Professional Standards tribunal is warranted.
The committee operates under procedures set forth in the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual of the National Association of Realtors.
