Born to a pair of hardworking, inspiring, immigrant parents, Caroline grew up in both San Jose, CA and Shanghai, China and experienced the distinct cultures and perspectives of two halves of the world.
Because of her Asian American identity, a typical family friend would approach her to ask the most common question: Does America still feel like home to you?
After spending 4 years in Shanghai during her high school years, she came back to the U.S. to attend college.
At the University of Southern California, Caroline co-founded her own bike share startup and won multiple funding rounds from both USC and outside investors.
