Each firm (or office in the case of firms with multiple office locations) shall designate in writing one REALTOR member who shall be responsible for all duties and obligations of membership, including the obligation to arbitrate (or to mediate if required by the association) pursuant to Article 17 of the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS and the payment of Association dues.

REALTORS should recognize that the interests of the nation and its citizens require the highest and best use of the land and the widest distribution of land ownership.
They require the creation of adequate housing, the building of functioning cities, the development of productive industries and farms, and the preservation of a healthful environment.
Upon its wise utilization and widely allocated ownership depend the survival and growth of free institutions and of our civilization.
REALTORS should recognize that the interests of the nation and its citizens require the highest and best use of the land and the widest distribution of land ownership.

Once received, the Grievance Panel will review the complaint.
The Grievance Panel does not decide if the alleged complaint is true or false.
It only decides whether or not, on the face of the complaint, there may have ben any ethical violations and if it should proceed to a hearing.
If the panel forwards the complaint to a hearing all parties will be contacted to schedule a date.
If the panel dismisses the case you have the right to appeal their decision.
Any person, whether a member or not, having reason to believe that a member is guilty of any conduct subject to disciplinary action, may file a complaint in writing in their own name with the Professional Standards Administrator, dated and signed by complainant, stating the facts on which it is based (Form #E-1, Complaint, Part Six), provided that the complaint is filed within one hundred eighty (180) days after the facts constituting the matter complained of could have been known in the exercise of reasonable diligence or within one hundred eighty (180) days after the conclusion of the transaction or event, whichever is later.
