I will never forget the family outings to watch my Grandfather's boat pull in and out of the harbor, and the excitement of watching them unload.
Much to my Grandmother's dismay, crab races on her kitchen floor were a favorite of all the grandchildren.
My paternal Grandfather owned a fleet of logging trucks and I loved going to Simpson's mill to see them all lined up or preparing preparing to haul.
I have so many fond memories of growing up here and believe there truly is "no place like home".
