The Southern Indiana REALTORS(R) Association (SIRA) serves more than 1100 REALTOR(R) members and 200 REALTOR(R) firms throughout Southern Indiana. SIRA's mission is to provide resources, advocacy and education for real estate professionals, upholding the highest standards to meet the needs of customers and the community. SIRA's jurisdiction takes in seven counties including; Harrison, Orange, Clark, Floyd, Jefferson, Crawford and Scott.

REALTORS(R) are licensed real estate practitioners who maintain memberships in a local association of REALTORS(R), a state association of REALTORS(R) and the National Association of REALTORS(R). As members of these organizations, they are pledged to abide by a strict code of professional conduct. They also have access to a wide variety of business services that aren't available to non-REALTORS(R).

REALTORS(R) hold a competitive edge in the marketplace, enabling superior services to buyers and sellers.

It is once again time for the 2021 SIRA election of new directors, officers, committees, ROTY and of course the 2021 Rookie of the year.
Each year SIRA receives many qualified applicants to fill only 4 or 5 vacant positions as a director.
With that being said, if you applied previously apply again!
Associations would love to have our problem of too many applicants for the positions.
Your participation in your association is what makes SIRA stand out in the crowd.
As a member of the National Association of REALTORS(R) you have access to a wide array of benefits, business tools, real estate market data, educational opportunities, and discount programs designed to help you succeed in today's market.
Our new Association Management System (AMS) which is another member benefit.
Members not only pay online with a credit card but can keep your contact information updated, pull all your invoices off for tax purposes and keep track of your CE hours taken through SIRA.
The REALTORS(R) Political Action Committee (RPAC) advocates on behalf of REALTORS(R) and real estate issues that benefit you and me.
RPAC is non-partisan in its selection of candidates.
Now more than ever, it is critical for REALTORS(R) across America to come together and speak with one voice about the stability a sound and dynamic real estate market brings to our communities.
From city hall to the state house to the U.S. Capitol, our elected officials are making decisions that have a huge impact on the bottom line of REALTORS(R) and their clients.
REALTORS(R) are members of the National Association of REALTORS(R) and subscribe to its strict Code of Ethics.
When you're buying a home, here's what an agent who's a REALTOR(R) can do for you.
Act as an expert guide.
Buying a home typically requires a variety of forms, reports, disclosures, and other legal and financial documents.
A knowledgeable real estate agent will know what's required in your market, helping you avoid delays and costly mistakes.
Also, there's a lot of jargon involved in a real estate transaction; you want to work with a professional who can speak the language.
