Kelly Real Estate formerly known as Kern City Real Estate has been centrally located in Kern City since the 1960s. Kelly Real Estate specializes in Residential and Commercial sales and Investment Property Management. The Real Estate Company is run by Bakersfield locals Jim and Brian Dandy. The Dandys have an 89 year legacy in home sales, property management, and construction in California.
In 1927 J.L. Dandy began developing property in the San Fernando Valley. In the 1940s he expanded into the San Joaquin Valley and moved the J.L. Dandy & Co. headquarters to Bakersfield in 1949. James F. Dandy began working with his father while still in high school, and recalls building houses in Bakersfield, Wasco, and Shafter. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1956, and shortly after obtained his broker's license.
In 2007 James joined forces with Patrick Kelly in assisting with the successful growth of Kelly Management and Kelly Real Estate. Today he is still an active leader in the Bakersfield real estate industry.
