Services
The Klamath County Association of REALTORS maintains a government affairs program with full time staff to ensure that the real estate industry in Klamath County is represented with local and regional governments.
The Klamath County Association of REALTORS advocates for the industry by participating in all facets of the policy making process, including representing the industry on various committees and stakeholder panels, meeting with local government staff and elected officials on important issues, and providing testimony before city and county governments.

Who Can File a Complaint?
An ethics complaint may be filed against a REALTOR member of an Association by anyone.
Not all real estate licensees are REALTORS.
Only those who belong to an Association can use the term REALTOR.
By joining an Association, all members agree to abide by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS' Code of Ethics as a condition of membership.
It is because of their obligation to abide by the Code of Ethics that a complaint may be filed.

In May of 2015, NAR's Board of Directors adopted the REALTORS Commitment to Excellence under which REALTORS strive for excellence in a number of competencies, including the NAR Code of Ethics, the laws and regulations affecting real estate, and one's advocacy efforts on behalf of strong real estate markets and healthy communities.
The Commitment to Excellence also extends to the way REALTORS interact with one another and with consumers and to the need to maintain one's professional education.
The Commitment also asks broker-owners and principals of real estate companies to maintain an environment that promotes excellent customer service.
